Job Posting Description and Graphic for Monthly Newsletter
Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, August 2023
This is a job posting I designed during my internship. I also created a QR code that would send those interested to the Chamber's website. This was sent to over 600 clients and was featured at the top of the newsletter.

Social Media Caption for Event
Henderson County Chamber of Commerce
During my internship, I learned how to schedule and write professional captions. This is an example of my work for an event with the HCYP.

Social Media Post and Caption
INDECISIVE
This post serves to showcase the social platforms the band uses and how potential venues can get in contact.

Design Strategy
Indecisive
One of the biggest projects I have tackled was the rebrand of the band, Indecisive. They are a local college band based in Lexington, TN. This is what their Instagram currently looks like.

Social Media Insights
Indecisive
This is the band's highest-performing post on Instagram. Our goal was to recap 4th of July festivities and increase awareness. Here, you can see that we reached over 257 accounts with 63% of them being non-followers.

Social Media Insights

These are more insights from the band's highest-performing post. Based on our interactions with followers and consistency with posting, we have increased our engagement to a staggering 93.6% with an average of over 50 interactions.

Research for Photography Project
GDES 345, Spring 2024
These are a series of images that motivated me to create my unique photography piece, "Going Through The Motions" (as seen on the Graphic Design page). I was heavily inspired by Nan Goldin and her artistic style. Through extensive research in her catalog, I noticed two main aspects that set her apart from other photographers: she romanticizes everyday life and evokes powerful, raw emotions that the audience can easily visualize. One way that I accomplished this in my original work was by taking photos from different lightings and angles. I also decided that I wanted to encapsulate a more candid appearance in my replication. Overall, the final composition is what sold my piece. I did not include my full face in the frame and increased my shutter speed to give it a blurred effect. Although my piece is not a direct replication of Nan Goldin, it is heavily inspired by and in the essence of her style.
