OVERVIEW

From May 2023 to October 2023, I had the privilege to work alongside the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce as their graphic design/social media intern. My day-to-day responsibilities included:

• Building monthly newsletters for Chamber members

• Designing graphics for upcoming events

• Collaborating with businesses for annual community events (First Friday Night on the Square, Festival of the Lakes)

• Creating logos for Chamber organizations

• Hosting leadership opportunities

• Networking with several industries in West Tennessee

• Establishing relationships with new businesses

• Managing social media platforms

Working for the Chamber strongly impacted my leadership skills and gave me experience that I will take into the professional world. While I faced many challenges, I was able to adapt quickly, execute tasks, and acquire proficiency in my role. This internship not only introduced me to working in a professional environment, but it molded and shaped me into an ambitious young professional who is capable of leading and collaborating with others.
